Confession Time on My 46th Birthday

//Confession Time on My 46th Birthday

Confession time on my 46th birthday…are you ready for this? For years, I compared myself to people I admired. People who seemed to be doing everything I dreamed of doing whether it be writing, speaking, traveling the world or simply using their gifts to make a real contribution to others.

If you’ve ever done this, you know how truly miserable it feels.

I imagined the ‘successful’ people had all these resources that I didn’t. Things like:

More money.

All the right connections.

An ability to focus they I could never have because of my ADD-ish brain.

Some light-filled office filled with a team of dedicated geniuses buzzing around.

Thankfully, I had a much-needed wake-up call.

Once I stopped wasting time and energy getting sucked into what I now call “comparison hangovers” and started taking consistent action, I realized something monumental-

Every one of my assumptions about what ‘happy & successful’ people had that I didn’t were total B.S.

I was making up excuses. And pretty lame excuses at that!

The truth was, I was afraid that-

I wasn’t good enough.

I didn’t have anything unique to say

People would judge me, criticize me and call me a fraud.

I had piles of limiting beliefs about myself, my capabilities and my worth as a human being.

But the TRUTH was actually this…

I already had everything I needed to turn my life around.

On the most basic level, I had food, running water, and a roof over my head. Something that billions of other humans still don’t have.

Most importantly:

I had HEART!

I had the willingness to commit to a higher standard of living, to learn new things, to work hard and never give up!

I believe you have that too. In fact, I know with every fiber of my being that you absolutely have the ability to actualize your deepest and truest potential.

It doesn’t matter how much time, money, experience, or anything else that you might feel you lack – you were born with everything you need to reach your highest creative possibility.

But what holds most of us back are excuses.

Excuses about why other people can do things, but we can’t.

Excuses are limiting but they’re also destructive.

They’re like self-made prison bars that keep us trapped in misery and mediocrity. And we’re the only ones who hold the key to our freedom.

Over the years, after working with tens of thousands of people, I’ve seen 7 common excuses that hold many of us back from doing the work we were born to do.

If you suspect at least part of what’s holding you back might actually be you, then it’s time to get real with yourself and use that energy to push yourself forward to living your ultimate life.

One more thing…

I believe every human being deserves the chance to live an extraordinary life regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, economics or any other way we humans categorize or label ourselves.

My mission is to do everything in my power to help as many people as possible to improve the quality of their lives.

That’s why 90% of my content is always free on my website.

Is there a dream you’re putting off because you’re afraid you’ll lose motivation and let yourself down?

Leave a comment and let me know.

For many of us, we’ve lost touch with our dreams. We’ve either experienced so much disappointment over the years or we’re just overwhelmed with the day-to-day demands of getting by that we can’t even imagine anything different!

But here’s the truth.

You have the power to make a significant change in your life.

Because one day, you’ll wake up and realize there’s not enough time left to chase the dreams you’ve been holding in your heart.

If there’s a change you know you need to make, I hope this will inspire you to get back in touch with what’s possible and take action now.

With so much love,

P.S. It’s my birthday, I would like to offer you a copy of my FREE book (only pay shipping).
